Baronial Exchequer
Greetings Barony of Skraeling Althing! We are currently looking for individuals interested in becoming Baronial Exchequer. The successful incumbent would begin as Deputy Exchequer, and then take over once the current Exchequer’s warrant expires in November.
The duties of the position include:
– Approving expenses and disbursements jointly with the Financial Committee
– Preparing, signing, and delivering cheques for said expenses / disbursements
– Overseeing the finances of events hosted by the Barony
– Reporting non-member event registrations to the Kingdom Exchequer
– Recording all financial transactions on the Barony’s ledger
– Preparing and submitting quarterly and yearly financial reports
– Assisting Cantons and Strongholds with their financial reporting
– Reviewing and revising financial policy in collaboration with the Financial Committee.
