Greetings to the diligent populace of Skraeling Althing!
The vote for new populace badges was a smashing success, with a much larger turnout than we expected. Thank you to everyone for voting and contributing. It was a close race, but the winner that emerged was the first option – (Fieldless) A chevron couped gules surmounted by a hare salient contourny argent:

It was asked during voting to explain the significance of the chevron, and that is to reflect the per chevron division we have in the baronial arms.
As well, the simple geometric badge (Fieldless) A fess per fess indented argent and gules received overwhelming support.

I will be sending these badges up shortly for submission. As many of you know, the submission process takes the better part of a year for everything to be finalized and sometimes they may be returned for further work, so I would ask that everyone be patient and wait for these items to be processed before making things using the badges, in case we’re asked to change anything.
Thank you to everyone once again for responding with such enthusiasm to this project. I am extremely moved by the interest and support our populace displayed for promoting our heraldry.
