Greetings unto the most noble populace of Skraeling Althing from Baron Shahid and Baroness Catherine.
What a whirlwind of a summer! There were so many wonderful events and activities it’s hard to know where to start.
It was wonderful to celebrate Our very first Pennsic with so many Skraels. There was so much going on that We were unable to see and do everything that We liked, but wherever We went we saw Our people fighting in honourable combat, teaching and learning new skills, and enjoying each others company. We wish to congratulate Sir Varakii Varenko Vikovitch on his elevation to the Order of Chivalry in a wonderful Russian ceremony. It brought tears to Our eyes to see One of Our own so deservedly honoured. We would also like to congratulate Lord Edward of Flaming Sky on receiving an Award of the Maiden’s Heart.
Soon after, We traveled to the Northern Shires to celebrate Baron’s Howe. The rain could not dampen the bright spirits of Our populace, and at a longhouse court We were well pleased to see Lord Nathaniel Jonessone receive an Award of Orion from Their Majesties Hands.
The week after that We travelled to the Citie of Eoforwic for Feast of the Bear. There, it was Our joy to witness yet more recognition from the hands of Their Royal Majesties. We would like to congratulate Mistress Kersteken Janzdochtere on her elevation to the Order of the Pelican. It was a heartfelt ceremony full of the love and joy this fine Mistress deserves. We would also like to congratulate Lady Pesha on receiving an Award of the Orion.
We were then welcomed to the Canton of Vest Yorvik for the Coronation of Trumbrand III and Kaylah III. Waes hail to Their Majesties on Their ascension to the Thrones of Ealdormere. We wish to congratulate Baron Giovanni d’Enzinas on his admission into the Order of the Crucible. Well deserved!
Most recently, we attended the Feast of Beasts in Our Canton of Tor Brant. There, we were pleased to officially welcome Isobel and Sydney to the Barony with Bunny Tails. Waes hael!
This autumn will continue to be full of fun and events, with Crown, and Feast of the Hare to look forward to. We hope to see many of you there.
